Dozens Of Mass Organizations And Police Are Arguing In Front Of The Finance Office
SERANG – A number of mass organizations (ormas) took action in front of the finance office on Jalan Ahmad Yani, Sumur Pecung, Serang City, Banten. The actions of dozens of members of these mass organizations are considered to disturb the peace and comfort of road users. Based on the video circulating, their action has closed half the road.
A number of residents complained about the action. Because road users feel blocked by dozens of motorbikes parked in the middle of the road. Not only that, local residents feel worried if there is a clash.
The Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police, Commissioner Shinto Silitonga, when confirmed the action. Shinto explained that his party had disbanded the mass organization because its actions caused traffic jams.
"Yes, it is true. Around 9 a.m. (Thursday, September 23). The crowd was 20 people with 10 motorbikes.” Shinto explained when contacted by VOI, Thursday, September 23.

According to information, that morning the mass organization group was holding a demonstration in front of the finance office on Jalan Ahmad Yani, Serang. Local residents reported to the police because the action was considered disturbing. The police who received the report immediately arrived at the location and immediately brought order to the mass organizations.
“They have closed the road with parallel parking of their vehicles. However, this action is detrimental to other road users. Congested. Residents protest. Finally, we follow up with the members for enforcement." said Shinto.
There was tension between the police and mass organizations. But fortunately, there was no clash. Shinto said that after their actions were brought under control, the officers conducted a search.
“After the activity, after the members (motorcycles) were sidelined, they conducted a search. And none of them carry sharp weapons,” he said.
Furthermore, the Serang City Police are conducting an investigation and looking for the motive for this mass organization to take action in front of the finance office.
