Corruption Case In Tanah Munjul, Chairman Of DKI DPRD Asked By KPK Budgeting Mechanism: I Leave It To Executive
JAKARTA - Chairman of the DKI Jakarta Provincial DPRD (Regional House of Representatives), Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, admitted that he was asked about the budgeting mechanism that led to the corruption case of land acquisition in Munjul, Pondok Ranggon in 2019.
Prasetyo said this after undergoing an examination for about four hours by KPK (Corruption Eradication Commission) investigators. Prasetyo is a witness for the former Director of Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, Yoory Corneles who is a suspect in this case.
"(Earlier, ed) we were asked about the mechanism, the budgeting mechanism from the RPJMD, KUA, RKPD, that's all", Prasetyo told reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, September 21.
He admitted that investigators only asked about six or seven questions related to the mechanism in place at the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Budget Agency to give budget approval. Prasetyo's position as Chairman of DKI Budget Agency.
Furthermore, the PDI-P politician explained the budget approval mechanism at Budget Agency, DKI Jakarta Province. Prasetyo said that the budget was indeed discussed in the meeting which was then knocked and approved for the executive.
The budget discussed is not detailed but carried out as a whole.
"Well, I leave the logs to the executive and the executive must be responsible", said Prasetyo.
"If it is held in a meeting, everything is met at the Budget Agency. Everything uses a mechanism", he added.

Prasetyo also emphasized that he was not familiar with the suspects involved in the alleged corruption case in land acquisition. Moreover, he did not chair the budget discussion meeting at that time.
"At that time the executor of the budget agency was not me but Pak Tri Wicaksana because it was a collegial collective. So it wasn't me", he said.
"Well, at that time there was a budget deficit of IDR 18 trillion. I combed it up to a surplus of IDR 1 trillion. After that, I gave the logs to the executive, just like that, I finished my task", added Prasetyo.
In this case, the KPK has named four suspects, namely the Director and Deputy Director of PT Adonara Propertindo namely Tommy Adrian and Anja Runtuwene, former President Director of Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya Yoory Corneles, and Director of PT Aldira Berkah Abadi Makmur (ABAM) Rudy Hartono Iskandar. In addition, the KPK has also named PT Adonara Propertindo as a suspect in corporate corruption.
This allegation of corruption occurred when Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, which is a BUMD in the property sector, sought land in the Jakarta area to be used as a business unit or land bank. Furthermore, this regionally owned company cooperates with PT Adonara Propertindo which is also engaged in the same field.
As a result of this alleged corruption, the state is estimated to have lost up to IDR 152.5 billion. The suspects allegedly used this money to finance their personal needs.
