Hard! PSI Chairman Giring Calls Anies Baswedan Not A Good Example Of Overcoming Crisis, Has A Track Record Of Liars
JAKARTA - Acting Chairman of the PSI, Giring Ganesha, called the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan a liar. This trail must be remembered by the public and be taken into consideration in voting when the 2024 presidential election arrives.
"Pretending to care is Governor Anies' lie in the midst of a pandemic and people's suffering. We must remember the track record of these liars, as material for consideration during the 2024 presidential election. Don't let Indonesia fall into the hands of liars, don't let Indonesia fall into the hands of Anies Baswedan", said Giring quoted from the official website psi.id, Monday, September 20.
Said Giring, he always appears as a person who cares about the suffering of the people during the pandemic. Unfortunately, this is not proven by the amount of rupiah spent during the pandemic.
"Jakarta's huge budget he spent for the benefit of his personal ego to run as a presidential candidate in 2024. He ignored the people's pressure who asked him to cancel the Formula E car racing plan and use Rp1 trillion of public money for this useless event", said Giring.
Anies paid the advance for the Formula E event when the government officially declared the country a state of emergency due to the pandemic.
"Anies spent that much money in the midst of the suffering of people who were sick, died, and their lives were difficult because of the pandemic. He spent IDR 1 trillion even though abandoned people could not go to full hospitals. People had difficulty eating because they lost their jobs", said Giring.

Ironically, in the midst of all the suffering of the people, Anies said that he had given up, unable to overcome the situation. He admitted that he did not have the funds to deal with COVID-19 and asked the central government to take over the handling in Jakarta.
“I believe honesty is an important recipe for getting out of a crisis. The critical situation due to this pandemic requires openness and transparency. Because only then can we properly identify the problem and find a way out of the crisis”, said Giring.
In a crisis, a true leader must try as hard as possible to save the people, save the greater interest.
"Governor Anies is not an example of a person who can overcome a crisis", said Giring.
