Now, Visitors To The Yellow Category In PeduliLindung Can Also Enter The Bioksop

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, said that currently visitors who are yellow categorized in the PeduliLindung application may enter the cinema.

This was decided in the extension of the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in Java-Bali for 2 weeks from September 21 to October 4, 2021.

"The opening of cinemas with a maximum capacity of 50 percent in level 3 and level 2 cities, but with the obligation to use the PeduliLindung application and the implementation of strict health protocols. Yellow and green categories can enter the cinema area. What was previously only green, now we can enter with yellow", Luhut said in a virtual press conference, Monday, September 20.

Color categories in the PeduliLindung application have a specific meaning. If the user scans the QR code in this application and a green category appears, it means that the user has been vaccinated against COVID-19 twice and is not currently infected with COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the yellow category is when users have just been vaccinated 1 time or the first dose and are not currently infected with COVID-19.

If the category is red, it means that the user has not been vaccinated or no vaccination data is found, then he is not infected with COVID-19. If the category is black, it means that the user is infected with COVID-19 or is in close contact with a COVID-19 case.

Luhut said several regions experienced a decline in the PPKM assessment level over the next two weeks. In fact, currently, there are no regions that apply PPKM Level 4.

"Currently, there are no more urban districts that are at level 4 in Java-Bali. So all of them are at (PPKM) Levels 3 and 2", he said.

Luhut explained, the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic continues to show improvement. The epidemiological estimation results of the Indonesia University Faculty of Medicine show that Indonesia's effective reproductive rate for the first time during this pandemic has been below 1, which is 0.98.

"This figure means that every 1 case of COVID-19 infects an average of 0.98 people or the number of cases will continue to decrease. This figure can be interpreted that the Indonesian COVID-19 pandemic has been controlled", said Luhut.
