The control refers to the appeal of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Number 8 of 2021 concerning the Development of a No-Smoking Area which is set to make Jakarta smoke-free.
"So minimarkets, supermarkets, and grocery stalls are not allowed to advertise cigarettes and display cigarette packs", he said.
Budhy said, his party did not prohibit the sale of cigarette products. However, what is prohibited is displaying advertisements for cigarette products that can attract people to consume them.
