1 Body Of KM Elang Laut Victim Found, 3 Other Crews In Search
JAKARTA - Adam (19) the crew of the KM Elang Laut ship was found dead on Damar Island, Thousand Island Waters, Jakarta. Adam is a crew member of the KM Elang Laut ship that capsized due to bad weather.
Head of the Jakarta Search and Rescue Office (SAR Mission Coordinator) Hendra Sudirman said his party found one body during a search on Tuesday, September 14.
"One dead victim was found at around 17.20 p.m. local time. The victim has been evacuated to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital", he said in an official statement received by VOI, Wednesday, September 15.
Meanwhile, joint SAR officers are still looking for 3 other crew members who have not been found after the ship tossed and capsized.

Meanwhile, 6 crew members who were rescued by RIB 03 belonging to the Jakarta Search and Rescue Office have undergone medical treatment at Atmajaya Hospital.
The six crew members of the KM Elang Laut who survived were Ale (34) the captain of the ship, Gito (39), Danial Manuate (25), Muhammad Kadiman (24), Mulyana (31) KKM and Cecep (18) a crew member (ABK).
Previously, a motorboat (KM) Elang Laut with a crew of 10 capsized in the northeast of Damae Island or in the Thousand Islands bay due to being hit by waves in the waters of Damar Island, Thousand Islands, North Jakarta, Tuesday, September 14.
Head of the Jakarta Search and Rescue Office (SAR Mission Coordinator) Hendra Sudirman said his party managed to save 6 crew members. While 3 other people are still in the process of being searched and 1 person died.
"Thank God, we have rescued six people. There is only one died while others are still being searched".
