JAKARTA - The government has carried out the preparation of the Financial Statements in accordance with the applicable Government Accounting Standards. This is a form of implementing commitment and accountability for the implementation of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget for Fiscal Year 2020 as mandated in Law Number 17 of 2003 concerning State Finances and Law Number 1 of 2004 concerning State Treasury.
The Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs once again won an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) on the 2020 Financial Statements, which was the 10th consecutive achievement since 2011.
With this success, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs also received an award from the Minister of Finance in the WTP category a minimum of 10 times in a row which was delivered virtually at the National Working Meeting on Accounting and Government Financial Reporting which was also attended by the Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Susiwijono Moegiarso, Tuesday, September 14.
WTP opinion is a mandatory standard that must be maintained. This is what is able to encourage continuous performance improvement, encourage the development of an adequate Internal Control System, as well as the implementation of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) within the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy.
Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto on the agenda for submitting the Audit Results Report (LHP) of Financial Statements with BPK RI, last July, hoped that all levels of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs would not only compete to pursue WTP opinions but also work hard in improving good governance practices. good governance (good governance).
On the occasion of the LHP submission, Coordinating Minister Airlangga also said that room for improvement and internal control must still be identified and continuous improvement should be carried out.
