Management Of Omni Hospitals Owned By Conglomerate Eddy Kusnadi Sariaatmadja Officially Acquires Majority Of Kedoya Adyaraya Shares

JAKARTA - The manager of Omni Hospitals, PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk (SAME) has officially acquired PT Kedoya Adyaraya Tbk (RSGK). SAME, a company owned by conglomerate Eddy Kusnadi Sariaatamadja, is the majority shareholder or controlling manager of the Grha Kedoya Hospital.

In an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website, quoted on Tuesday, September 14, this share purchase transaction took place on September 9, 2021. In a letter signed by the President Director of SAME, Jusup Halimi, the company reported that it had taken over 167,340,000 or 18 percent Kedoya Adyaraya shares.

The acquisition was carried out at a purchase price of Rp1,720 per share. Thus, the overall transaction value for the acquisition reached Rp287.82 billion.

"The number of shares and the percentage of share ownership before the transaction was 4,511,000 shares or 0.49 percent and after the transaction 171,851,000 shares or 18.49 percent," explained SAME management.

Furthermore, the purchase of the shares was carried out with the aim of long-term investment. Last week, SAME's management stated that the acquisition was carried out to expand the company's business activities in the field of health services.

"This acquisition plan will expand SAME's business activities in the field of health services by building and managing hospitals in Indonesia," concluded the management.
