The Shaman Was Killed For Failing To Multiply Money, From IDR 60 Million To IDR 5 Billion

TANGERANG – The perpetrator of the murder of a money-multiplier shaman in Kampung Jawaringan, Sukamanah Village, Rajeg District, Tangerang Regency was arrested. Two of the three people were arrested, while one of the perpetrators is still being pursued by the Tangerang Police.

The two men who were arrested each had the initials W (35) a resident of Sukadiri Sub-district, Tangerang Regency, and TYP (50) a resident of South Tambun Sub-district, Bekasi. Both were arrested in the Kalideres area, West Jakarta.

"The victim named Fatoni alias Abah Toni, 62 years old, a resident of Kampung Jawaringan, Sukamanah Village, Rajeg District," said Tangerang Police Chief Commissioner Wahyu Sri Bintoro during a press conference at the Tangerang Police Precision Building, Banten Police, Monday, September 13.

Wahyu explains the chronology and motive of the event. According to Wahyu, the perpetrators of the murders are known to be 3 people. Another perpetrator whose identity is known has been assigned to the wanted list (DPO).

"The motive for the three suspects to commit murder was because they felt hurt or cheated because they were promised by the victim who claimed to be able to double the money," Wahyu explained.

Suspect W, said Wahyu, admitted to giving the victim Rp60 million in money and promised that it would be doubled to Rp20 billion. Meanwhile, the TYP suspect admitted that he gave the victim Rp8.2 million in money and was promised that it would be doubled to Rp5 billion.

Based on the confessions of the suspects, after handing over the money, the victim invited the three suspects to meditate at Jayanti Beach, Cianjur Regency. However, until the lapse of 2 weeks after meditation, the money promised to be doubled did not come. The three suspects began to get annoyed and began planning to kill the victim's life.

The three suspects then agreed to go to the victim's house at night around 11 pm. The suspects entered the victim's house by prying out a window using a screwdriver. After successfully entering, the suspects immediately killed the victim.

"The three suspects shared their duties, some tied the victim's hands, some tied the victim's legs, and some smothered the victim until the victim suffocated and died," said Wahyu.

The next day, Friday, July 16, the police received a report from the public that a body had been found. The police investigated the crime scene and found the victim's 2 motorbikes, 2 cell phones, and some money missing. The police suspected that the victim was a murder victim because blood was coming out of the victim's mouth.

"We then performed an autopsy on the victim's body at the Balaraja Hospital. The result was that the victim died due to running out of oxygen," Wahyu added.

The police also carried out investigations and investigations as well as the crime scene and examined witnesses. The police then received instructions on the suspect's whereabouts in the Jogjakarta area. However, after arriving in Jogjakarta, it was discovered that the suspect had moved to the Kalideres area.

"We immediately pursued in Kalideres and finally managed to secure the two suspects," said Wahyu.

From the results of the examination, the two suspects admitted their actions along with 1 other suspect. The police also secured evidence in the form of 2 motorbikes, 2 mobile phones, pillows, and blankets with bloodstains on them.

"The suspects are charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code and 365 of the Criminal Code with the threat of life imprisonment or the death penalty," said Wahyu.
