Undergoing Independent Isolation After The G20 Meeting, Minister Of Health Budi: It's Important For Us To Have Quarantine Discipline
JAKARTA - Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin was present in a virtual working meeting with Commission IX of the House of Representatives (DPR), Monday, September 13. Budi's absence to Parliament today is because he is still in self-isolation.
Budi admitted that he had just returned from a meeting between the health ministers of the G20 countries. It is known that the meeting was held in Rome, Italy in early September.
"Sorry, I just came back from the G20 meeting in Italy yesterday, so I still need to quarantine for 8 days. So now it's still in the Four Seasons", said Budi, Monday, September 13.
Originally, the Minister of Health held a working meeting with the finance minister and the head of the COVID-19 task force.

During the meeting, Budi assessed the need to guard the entrances to Indonesia to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Especially about the new variants that keep mutating.
One of them, he said, was to implement quarantine. As he is doing now.
"It's important for us to maintain our borders. Our borders are the doors, our entry, tighten the entry and exit tests. Including discipline in the quarantine process", said the Minister of Health.
