Dozens Of Bali Immigration Officers Looking For Foreigners Who Persecuted Ex-Girlfriends
BADUNG - Head of Information and Communication of the Immigration Office Class I Special for TPI Ngurah Rai, Putu Suhendra, said his party had deployed personnel to search for a foreigner suspected of being from Nigeria, Koffe Cristian Yao aka Harry. He is suspected of molesting his ex-girlfriend BMS, who is an Indonesian citizen.
"For the temporary position, there are about 15 or 20 people (personnel). We are still (searching) and checking in suspected places in the Canggu and Seminyak areas", said Suhendra when contacted, Tuesday, September 7.
This search was carried out by Immigration with the police. According to Suhendra, the hunt for Nigerian citizens requires a lot of information.
"Of course, if it is dangerous, we must coordinate with the police. But if he can still be handled, we will immediately (arrest) him", he added.
But according to him, the status of the origin of the citizenship sought has not been confirmed. Because in the immigration system, the name of the person being sought is not recorded.
"There are many possibilities, whether the spelling (name) is lacking or the spelling is different, it could be. This is just one-sided information that we can't get. It's not valid yet", he said.
