Note! Holywings Kemang Prohibited From Opening Until COVID-19 Pandemic Ends

JAKARTA - Head of DKI Satpol PP, Arifin, said that his party will visit Holywings Kemang, South Jakarta to impose sanctions on the suspension of business licenses starting tonight.

This sanction was applied because Holywings Kemang violated the health protocol by allowing a crowd of customers, violating the maximum capacity of 25 percent, and operating after 21.00 western Indonesia time.

Arifin said, with the suspension of permits, Holywings Kemang was prohibited from operating until the PPKM period in Jakarta ended. Meanwhile, the government will continue to implement PPKM during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Against the Holywings restaurant on Kemang Raya street, Bangka Village, Mampang Prapatan District, we will impose sanctions in the form of a temporary suspension of permits during the COVID-19 pandemic, during the PPKM period," said Arifin at DKI City Hall, Monday, September 6.

"Yes, during the pandemic," said Arifin.

In addition, Holywings Kemang will also be subject to a fine of Rp50 million. This is stated in DKI Governor Regulation Number 2 of 2021.

The violation of health protocols occurred on Saturday, September 4 evening. Initially, the sanction was in the form of temporarily closing the place of business for 3x24 hours since Sunday, September 5.

Arifin explained the reason why his party did not immediately freeze the business license of Holywings Kemang when it imposed a temporary closure.

He said the DKI Provincial Government must prepare administrative files for business freezes. The provincial government is also tracing the history of violations of the Holywings Kemang health protocol. Apparently, the cafe has violated three times.

"We need to prepare administration related to controlling the sanctions. The supervision carried out by Satpol PP is at all levels in the sub-district, in the city, in the province, and at all levels," explained Arifin.

"This afternoon we conducted an evaluation to try to find data regarding the extent of the violations that Holywings had committed. It turns out, in February and March there were violations and they have been dealt with," he continued.
