Two Young Men With Weapons Arrested By Thug-Hunting Team During A Brawl

JAKARTA - The thug hunting team (TPP) of the West Jakarta Metro Police arrested two youths participating in a brawl under the Pesing flyover (under the bridge), Kebon Jeruk District, West Jakarta.

From the hands of the perpetrators with the initials AI and ED, the police confiscated a sharp knife and a bow. The arrests of the two youths stemmed from the action of breaking up a brawl carried out by the Thug Hunting Team at the location of the case.

"We confiscated sharp weapons to be used as evidence of crimes," said West Jakarta Police Head of Samapta, Grand Commissioner Adjutant Agus Rizal when confirmed by reporters, Sunday, August 5.

Agus explained that the incident began when the West Jakarta Metro Police Thug Hunting Team under the leadership of Katim III Aiptu Suyanto carried out regional patrols to anticipate street crimes.

Then, together with the team, they searched the area of Daan Mogot street, West Jakarta, which is suspected to be a routine arena for clashes between mass groups. Arriving under the Pesing flyover, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, the police encountered a brawl carried out by a group of youths

"We managed to disperse them and we managed to secure two young men along with a knife and a bow," he said.

For the purposes of the investigation, the perpetrators and sharp weapons were brought to the West Jakarta Metro Police.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the West Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Joko Dwi Harsono, confirmed that his party had accepted the delegation of cases of sharp weapons and brawls. Currently, the perpetrators are still in the process of being investigated by investigators.
