Anies Baswedan Brings Good News: 5 Days Of Face-to-Face Learning, No New Cases Of COVID-19 In 610 Schools
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said there were no new cases of COVID-19 transmission in 610 schools during the five days of face-to-face learning (PTM).
"Now there are 610 schools participating (face-to-face learning, ed). In just five days there have been no findings", Anies told reporters in Jakarta, Saturday, September 4.
This result, he said, was the same as when the face-to-face learning trial was conducted from April to June. At that time, of the 81 schools that were opened, there were no cases of COVID-19 or new clusters.
Even so, he continues to carry out monitoring and assessments. There are two assessments carried out, namely an infrastructure assessment and an assessment for parents, teachers, and school principals.
"If the two assessments have passed they can join the PTM as well. So now we are doing that so hopefully, there will be more schools that can do face-to-face learning", he said.
As previously reported, PTM in 610 schools in Jakarta was conducted on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Then, on Tuesday and Thursday, the school environment was sprayed with disinfectant.
However, the opening of schools from Monday to Friday does not mean that all students also study in class every day. Each class continues to take turns attending school, as well as learning online from home.
For information, the method of implementing learning in Jakarta is currently done through blended learning, namely learning in class and learning online.

The face-to-face learning time for each level is as follows:
a. High school/Vocational school maximum 35 minutes x 5 hours of lessons (175 minutes a week)
b. Junior high school equivalent maximum 35 minutes x 4 hours of lessons (140 minutes a week)
c. Elementary school equivalent maximum 35 minutes x 3 hours of lessons (105 minutes a week)
d. Kindergarten maximum 30 minutes x 2 hours of lessons (60 minutes a week)
Class conditions that apply face-to-face learning:
a. High school, Vocational school, Islamic schools, Junior high school, Elementary school, by maintaining a minimum distance of 1.5 meters and a maximum of 18 students per class.
b. Special needs schools learn by maintaining a minimum distance of 1.5 meters and a maximum of 5 students per class.
c. Kindergarten learns in class by maintaining a minimum distance of 1.5 meters and a maximum of 5 students per class.
