Investigating The Sale And Purchase Of Positions, KPK Summons Dozens Of Suspects Of Bribery For The Probolinggo Regent
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled the examination of dozens of suspected bribers from the Probolinggo Regent Puput Tantriana Sari. This investigation is related to the alleged bribery in the selection of positions in the Probolinggo Regency Government.
"Today, September 3, the summons and examination of suspects in corruption crimes related to the selection of positions within the Probolinggo Regency government in 2021", said Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Sector Ali Fikri to reporters, Friday, September 3.
"An examination is scheduled to be carried out at the Probolinggo Police on 17 suspects on behalf of MW (Mawardi) et al", he added.
The names of the dozens of bribers who were called were Sumanto, Ali Wafa, Mawardi, and Mashudi.
In addition, Maliha, Mohammad Bambang, Masruhen, Abdul Wafi, Kho'im, Akhmad Saifullah, Jaelani, Uhar, Nurul Hadi, Nuruh Huda, Hasan, Sahir, Sugito, and Syamsuddin. They are all state civil apparatus (ASN) in Probolinggo.

In this case, the KPK also determined four recipients, namely Probolinggo Regent Puput Tantriana Sari, NasDem faction member of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) who is also Puput's husband, Amin Hasanuddin, Krejengan sub-district head Doddy Kurniawan, and Paiton sub-district head Muhamad Ridwan.
Bribes were given so that they could serve as village heads in the Probolinggo Regency Government. Each person is required to pay IDR 20 million and the village land tribute of IDR 5 million per hectare.
Currently, only five people have been detained, namely Puput, Hasan, Doddy, Ridwan, and Sumarto. They were detained in different places.
Puput is being held at the KPK Detention Center (Rutan) at the Red and White Building branch. Hasan is being held at the KPK Rutan, Lot C1 branch.
Meanwhile, Doddy is being held at the Central Jakarta Police Rutan. Then, Ridwan was detained at the South Jakarta Police Rutan and Sugito was detained at the KPK Rutan Pomdam Guntur branch. The detention was carried out for the next 20 days starting from August 31 to September 19.
