Police Deploy Special Team To Treat Yahya Waloni: Health Is Improving
JAKARTA - The National Police stated that the health condition of the suspect in the alleged blasphemy case, Yahya Waloni, had improved. This follows the medical treatment that is carried out to the maximum.
"The condition is relatively improving", said the Head of the Medical Care and Maintenance Division of the National Police Hospital, Kombes Yayok Witarto to VOI, Sunday, August 29.
In fact, to speed up Yahya's recovery from his illness, the National Police deployed a special medical team. Later, all developments regarding health will be recorded and monitored by the team.
"There is (a special team), there is already a team for handling this patient", Yayok said.

Previously, the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan, said that Yahya had to be sent to the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. Because shortly after being arrested his health declined.
"The person concerned was taken to the Police Hospital because of his weak condition and is currently being treated at the Police Hospital", said Ramadhan.
With his declining condition, Yahya had to receive medical treatment. Observations related to his health were also carried out to find information about his illness.
Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Argo Yuwono said that based on the results of the medical team's examination, Yahya was known to have a history of heart disease. Moreover, even before being examined, Yahya complained of shortness of breath.
"Heart swelling", said Argo.
Yahya Waloni was arrested at his residence in Permata Housing, Cluster Dragon, Cileungsi, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Thursday, August 26.
The arrest of Yahya was based on the police report (LP) number LP/B/0287/IV/2021/BARESKRIM dated 27 April 2021. In the report, Yahya was considered to have insulted the Bible in his lecture. In fact, Yahya has been named a suspect in the case.
