Taliban Asks Qatar And Turkey To Help Take Full Control Of Kabul Airport
JAKARTA - The Taliban will soon take over the operations of Kabul airport, Afghanistan in full. The plan was announced recently, in which the Taliban expressed hope for technical assistance from Qatar.
As reported by Al Jazeera, the takeover is targeted for completion early next week. In addition, the Taliban also asked Turkey for help.
This could be a continuation of the dynamics of relations between Turkey and the Taliban. Earlier two Turkish officials said they would not help the Taliban operate Kabul airport following the departure of NATO troops.
