Gerindra Reveals Other Things Discussed At The Meeting Of President Jokowi And The Coalition Party
JAKARTA - Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the Gerindra Party DPP, Ferry Juliantono, revealed that there were other discussions in President Joko Widodo's meeting with 7 general chairmen (ketum) and secretary generals (Secretary General) of coalition political parties at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, August 25.
In addition to discussing the 5 agendas, said Ferry, there were other topics that were off-topic even though they were only briefly discussed.
"About after the pandemic ends, there will be cooperation to strengthen ideology to reduce excesses or create stability in the country. Considering that politics also inevitably has to be anticipated," said Ferry in an online discussion entitled "Reading the Directions of the Government Coalition", Saturday, August 28.
During the meeting, said Ferry, he also mentioned the amendment to the Constitution. But, he said, it was the MPR's authority. "As discussed earlier, Mr. Fadjroel (Palace spokesman, ed) is the authority of the MPR," said Ferry.

Fourth, regarding state administration, regional autonomy, and government systems due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and fifth, about the new nation's capital city and its follow-up," he explained.
Meanwhile, regarding amendments to the law, said Fadjroel, it is the territory of the MPR RI. According to him, the government was not involved in it.
