South Tangerang Health Office Boosts Student Vaccinations So Face-to-Face Learning Can Be Implemented
JAKARTA - The Tangerang Banten City Government through the Health Office is targeting as many as 12,000 people consisting of students and university students will take part in the COVID-19 vaccination related to the Face-to-Face Learning (PTM) plan.
Acting Head of the Tangerang City Health Office, Dini Anggraeni in Tangerang, Saturday said COVID-19 vaccination for students was a priority as limited face-to-face learning would be implemented.
High school/vocational students and students who will be vaccinated are proposals from schools and universities with a schedule determined by the Health Office. "This vaccination for students and university students will be carried out using the Pfizer vaccine," he said, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, August 28.
Tangerang Mayor Arief R Wismansyah said the socialization regarding the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination for high school/vocational high school students and university students had been delivered through a coordination meeting attended by the principal and chancellor.

"Vaccination for high school/vocational students and college students will be carried out starting next week. The priority is those who study or study in Tangerang City, even though their ID cards are not residents of Tangerang City," he said.
According to the Mayor, in the latest PPKM rules received, the implementation of learning in educational units can be done through limited face-to-face learning and/or distance learning.
This is based on the Joint Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture, Minister of Religion, Minister of Health and Minister of Home Affairs Number 03/KB/202l, Number 384 of 2021, Number HK.01.08/MENKES/4242/2021, Number 440-717 of 2021 concerning Guidelines Implementation of Learning in the 2019 Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Pandemic Period.
