Vice President Ma'ruf Amin Must Know, Community Satisfaction Level Of His Performance Is Below 50 Percent

JAKARTA - The Indicators survey institute presented the results of a survey regarding the level of public satisfaction with the performance of Vice President Ma'ruf Amin. Apparently, more people are dissatisfied with Ma'ruf's performance as the representative of President Joko Widodo.

Executive Director of Indicators Burhanuddin Muhtadi said, as many as 43.4 percent of respondents said they were satisfied with Ma'ruf's performance. Meanwhile, 50.4 percent said they were not satisfied and 6.2 percent did not answer.

"For the Vice President, the satisfaction is below 50 percent", said Burhanuddin in a virtual survey presentation, Wednesday, August 25.

Burhanuddin considered that the condition of lower satisfaction with the performance of the Vice President should be watched out for and be an input for Ma'ruf to work even better.

Because, according to Burhanuddin, the public views Ma'ruf as not yet prominent in carrying out his work as Vice President.

"The public has asked Aapres to be more active in helping the president. I think Kiai Ma'ruf is already working, but in terms of frequency and outreach, more should be done so that people know what Kiai Ma'ruf Amin is doing", said Burhanuddin.

Meanwhile, regarding Jokowi's performance, around 59.2 percent of respondents said they were satisfied. Meanwhile, 38.5 respondents said they were dissatisfied with Jokowi's performance and 2.1 said they did not know or did not answer.

For information, this survey was conducted in the range of July 30 to August 4, 2021. The sample was chosen completely at random using the multistage random sampling method.

Respondents who took part in the survey were 1.220 Indonesian citizens who had the right to vote and were over 17 years old or married. The survey's margin of error is about 2.9 percent at the 95 percent confidence level.
