Jokowi Gathers Coalition Political Party Leaders At The Palace Today, Discuss What?
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo is rumored to be holding a meeting with top political parties supporting the government's coalition at the State Palace today.
This was confirmed by the Secretary-General of the Nasdem Party, Jhonny G Plate. Plate said that the political party officials who will attend are the general chairman and the secretary-general.
"The chairman and secretary-general will be present at the State Palace", said Jhonny when confirmed, Wednesday, August 25.
Jhonny did not explain specifically Jokowi's intention to gather the leaders of the coalition political parties. He only said the meeting to be held was an ordinary meeting.
"It's a regular meeting between the President and the leadership of the coalition political parties", he said.

Meanwhile, PPP Party Secretary-General Arwani Thomafi also confirmed the plan for the meeting. However, Arwani did not explain what would be discussed.
For information, the Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin government has the support of the majority of coalition parties during the 2019 Election.
The political parties in coalition with the government are the PDI-P Party, the Golkar Party, the Nasdem Party, the Gerindra Party, the National Awakening Party (PKB), the United Development Party (PPP), the Indonesian Unity Party (Perindo), the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), PKPI, and the Crescent Star Party (UN), and Hanura.
