Collapsed Building, Margo City Mall Has Carried Out Maintenance According To SOP
DEPOK – The collapse of some buildings inside the Margo City mall has attracted the attention of many parties. The management of Margo City claims that it has carried out building maintenance in accordance with the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP).
"In terms of maintenance, of course, we are in accordance with the SOP," said Margo City Manager Marcom Reza Ardiananda quoting Antara, Sunday, August 22.
Reza explained that the mall had been checked regularly and in accordance with procedures, such as checking the completeness of security equipment or checking the condition of the building on a regular basis.
"If the building maintenance runs normally, there will be no problems," said Reza.
Before the incident occurred, the management of Margo City mall only started to reopen its operations on August 17, 2021, after the implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) level 4 in Depok City was relaxed and shopping centers were allowed to open in accordance with strict health protocol requirements.

"So before opening, we did a thorough check," he said.
Meanwhile, regarding the death toll in the loud explosion incident in Margo City, the manager stated that he would bear the hospital costs for all the victims, both those undergoing treatment and also providing compensation to the victims who died as a result of the incident.
As is known, there were 3 victims of the explosion at the Margo City mall who were treated at the RSUI and one person died. Meanwhile, two people have been allowed to go home.
