JAKARTA - The Chinese drama, Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils began airing Saturday, August 14 on WeTV. The story of the Tayli Country Warrior series takes place during the reign of Emperor Zhe Zong of the Song Dynasty.
The story revolves around Qiao Feng (Tony Yang), the leader of the beggar party, Duan Yu (Bai Shu), a prince from Dali, and Xu Zhu (Zhang Tianyang), a Shaolin monk. The three become adoptive brothers on their journey in the martial world.
Once upon a time, Qiao Feng was the leader of a brave beggar party. Many viewed him as a hero for defending the Song people. When Qiao Feng was accused of being of Khitan descent and branded a traitor, he was shunned by his fellow warriors.
