Paundrakarna's Toughness In Losing His Father KGPAA Mangkunegara IX

JAKARTA - The toughness of GPH Paundrakarna Jiwa Suryanegara, the eldest son of Kanjeng Gusti Pangeran Adipati Ario (KGPAA) Mangkunegara IX, is seen in a video recording. Paundrakarna was seen with his family when the body of KGPAA Mangkunegara IX was laid to rest.

In the video, Paundrakarna was seen hugging a family member. He also wipes tears.

Meanwhile, the youngest son of Mangkunegaran GPH Bhre Cakrahutomo Wira Sudjiwo recalled his father Kanjeng Gusti Pangeran Adipati Ario (KGPAA) Mangkunegara IX who died at the age of 70 on Friday, as a figure who was always enthusiastic.

"This was beyond prediction, because he was not sick before, it was really sudden," he said during a reception at the Mangkunegaran Temple in Surakarta, Central Java, as reported by Antara, Friday, August 13.

He said the death of King Mangkunegara IX was a big loss for Pura Mangkunegaran Surakarta.

"This is something we never imagined. This is a big loss for Mangkunegaran," he said.

However, he admitted that he would continue the spirit of the king, including doing his best for the Mangkunegaran Temple.

"He is very excited. Hopefully, later the family can always remember the good times in connection with Gusti and continue Gusti's ideals," he said.

Mentioned about the courtiers, he said, will remain part of the Pura Mangkunegaran Surakarta.

"We will still do the best for the courtiers because they have also done their best for us," he said.

His four children are GPH Paundrakarna Jiwa Suryanegara, GRAy Putri Agung Suniwati, GRAj Ancillasura Marina Sudjiwo, and GPH Bhre Cakrahutomo Wira Sudjiwo.

When asked about the figure of the King, Joko said that KGPAA Mangkunegara IX was a charismatic and kind person.

"In the 30 years I have been here I have never once seen him angry, he is indeed a very kind and generous person," he said.
