The Spirit Of TNI Together With The Residents Puts The Red And White Flag On The Papua Border

JAYAPURA - TNI personnel from the Indonesian Pamtas Task Force-PNG Mechanized Infantry Battalion 403/Wirasada Pratista along with residents on the border of Warlef village, Senggi district, Keerom regency, Papua distributed and installed red and white flags.

The Commander of the Pamtas Task Force (Dansatgas) Mechanized Infantry Battalion 403/Wirasada Pratista Lt. Col. Inf Ade Pribadi Siregar said the distribution and installation of the Red and White flag was carried out with the people in the border areas to motivate and invite the community to jointly appreciate the meaning of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia.

According to Dansatgas Lieutenant Colonel Ade Siregar, by respecting, respecting, and commemorating the day of the struggle for the independence of the Republic of Indonesia, it can be carried out in various ways to implement it.

"But don't let the value of the struggle be lost, so one of them is that we invite the public to install the Red and White Flag in the border areas," explained the Dansatgas quoted by Antara, Saturday, August 14.

Meanwhile, Danpos Kotis Pamtas Mechanized Infantry Battalion 403/Wirasada Pratista, Inf. Captain Restu Sujoko, said that the distribution of flags and the installation of red and white flags were carried out jointly with the personnel of the Kotis Pamtas Task Force for Mechanical Infantry Battalion 403/Wirasada Pratista with residents of Warlef Village, Senggi District.

"Before carrying out the installation of the Red and White Flag, we together with the residents of Warlef Village carried out a service to clean the Warlef Village's general environment, then continued with the distribution of the Red and White Flag to residents from house to house and put up the Red and White Flag with the community along the Warlef Village public road," he said.

There are even a number of residents who have immediately put up the Red and White Flag in their own yard.

"This is proof that people are very enthusiastic in celebrating and filling the independence day of the Republic of Indonesia," said Restu.

Meanwhile, the Head of Warlef Village, Yehuda Kumur, expressed his gratitude and pride for the invitation from the 403/Wirasada Pratista Pamtas Pamtas Task Force along with the people in the border areas.

"The festivities of August 17 can increase our fighting spirit and our mutual love for the homeland of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. On behalf of the residents of Warlef Village, I would like to express my gratitude and pride to the Infantry Battalion Unit 403 Pos Senggi for inviting us community members together to clean up the village environment.
