Mediation Deadlocked, Adam Deni Strictly Sentenced Jerinx Who Has Confessed His Guilt

JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Regional Police have brought together I Gede Aryastina alias Jerinx SID with Adam Deni for mediation. As a result, no agreement was found to end the case of the alleged threat of violence.

"But brother ADG (Adam Deni) even though he has forgiven him personally, he still asks for the legal process by investigators to continue in accordance with the existing laws and regulations," said Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Grand Commissioner Yusri Yunus to reporters, Saturday, August 14.

In addition, in the one-hour mediation process, Jerinx and Adam Deni have forgiven each other. Especially Jerinx who has already admitted his mistake.

"Reported brother J has apologized to the person concerned and the reporter has personally accepted what brother J said and has fully acknowledged that he was the one who made threats through electronic media," said Yusri.

Although there has been no agreement from the two parties to end the case, Yusri continued, investigators will still open opportunities for mediation. Until later, the case file was sent to the Prosecutor's Office.

"We are still opening room for further mediation until before this file is sent to the public prosecutor," said Yusri

Previously reported, Jerinx SID with Adam Deni this afternoon. They will be mediated to resolve cases of alleged threats of violence.

"The plan is this afternoon (mediation process)," said Yusri.

The plan, mediation between the two will take place around 13.00 western Indonesia time. This mediation is also a follow-up to the National Police Chief's guidelines regarding the handling of cases of the Information and Electronic Transaction Law (UU ITE).
