The Story Of Volunteers Who Called Metro Police Chief Fadli Imran A 'Crazy' Idea
JAKARTA - A volunteer named Devi told about the beginning of the formation of the Independent Vaccination. The initiator, the Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General Fadil Imran, is said to have a crazy idea.
At that time, he and several other volunteers were gathered at Metro Jaya Police. Inspector General Fadil who chaired the meeting asked them to participate in the breakthrough he would make to fight COVID-19.
"He (Inspector General Fadil) told about the breakthrough plan, we were whispering behind whether it could be like this. Because he frankly said this, we need to fight together", Devi told reporters, Wednesday, August 11.
Inspector General Fadil said the breakthrough that would be made was related to vaccination. The goal is that when Indonesia's Independence falls on August 17, all Jakartans will be vaccinated.

But the vaccination that will be made is different from the others. The concept is not centered on one point. Instead, they are spread throughout the Jakarta area.
"When he said that today was the 10th day, when we were called it was a hurricane, yes, why was it reckless, it was a bit of a crazy idea", she said.
In fact, the crazy idea was actually considered successful. Because, in just 10 days can vaccinate about 1 million people.
It is hoped that with this independent vaccination, all other regional officials can follow suit. Thus, the formation of herd immunity will soon be realized.
"Just 10 days, it could be 1 million. If for example, 10 million is the target, to achieve communal immunity, then actually the model made by the Metro Jaya Police only takes 2 months. To vaccinate 10 million people", said Devi.
