Five Police Chiefs South Sumatra Police Replaced, Bandung Police Chief Kombes Ulung Becomes Regional Supervision Inspectorate

PALEMBANG - The South Sumatra Regional Police have replaced five Police Chiefs, Regional Supervision Inspectorate, and the Director of Special Criminal Investigation.

The handover of the positions of the five police chiefs and the two main officials was led by the South Sumatra Police Chief, Inspector General Eko Indra Heri S, at the Pakri Palembang official residence complex, Monday, August 9.

The South Sumatran Regional Supervision Inspectorate was officially appointed by Kombes Ulung Sampurna Jaya (formerly the Head of Bandung Police, West Java replacing Kombes Indra Gautama who was assigned to BNN.

The Direskrimsus of the South Sumatra Police is held by Kombes Muhammad Barly Ramadhany (formerly TK II Criminal Investigation Unit Investigator) replacing Kombes Anton Setiyawan who shifted to Head of Sub-Directorate I of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police.

Meanwhile, the five Head of Regional Unit who were replaced, namely the Pagar Alam Police Chief, AKBP Dolly Gumara, who shifted to the new position of RBP Head Rorena, the South Sumatra Police, were handed over to a new official, AKBP Arief Harsono, who previously served as Head of Development and Operations Division of Traffic Directorate of the South Sumatra Police.

The Chief of Police for Ogan Komering Ilir is AKBP Diliyanto, who previously served as Associate Advocate of the Divkum Polri, replacing AKBP Alamsyah Pelupessy who shifted to Musi Banyuasin Head Police replaced AKBP Erlin Tangjaya who was promoted to Deputy Director of Community Guidance South Sulawesi Police.

Then the South Ogan Komwring Ulu (OKU) Police Chief, AKBP Indra Arya Yudha (previously served as Head of Unit V, Sub-Directorate of Corruption Crimes, Indonesian Police Criminal Investigation Agency) replaced AKBP Zulkarnain Harahap who occupied the new post of Deputy Director of Drug Research at the Jambi Police.

Then the OKU Police Chief served as AKBP Danu Agus Pramono (previously served as Police Staff at the Indonesian Consulate General in Penang Malaysia) replacing AKBP Arif Hidayat Ritonga who was appointed Head of Investigating Supervisor Division of the South Sumatra Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

The South Sumatra Police Chief, Inspector General Eko Indra Heri S, thanked the old official for his innovation and dedication during his service in this province and success in his new place.

"To the newly inaugurated officials, they must immediately adjust to the situation at their workplace, so that they can carry out their duties more actively and enthusiastically in serving the community in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic", said Head Police.
