JAKARTA - Valentino Rossi announced that he would retire from MotoGP on Friday, August 6.
In the midst of the sadness of the MotoGP industry, comedian Komeng managed to break the atmosphere because of his latest upload.
Shortly after the news of his retirement circulated, Komeng uploaded a video advertising a Yamaha motorcycle that he had starred with Rossi. The funny thing is, the description in the post managed to make netizens laugh.
"I'm sad... good luck @valeyellow46 at @motogp. Later, when you collect pension money, let's go together to the government bank...," said Komeng.

Komeng also wrote, "Sorry, Bro Rossi, when I retired I couldn't go to Italy, if I took a plane I had to bring a letter from RT/RW, so I can only send this video... in my village, videos of this model are trending again."
In 2018, Komeng also uploaded a photo with Valentino Rossi with the caption, "Photo with a school friend."
The netizen also mentioned that Komeng and Rossi are two legends in their respective fields. Komeng and Valentino Rossi are known to star in several Yamaha commercials from year to year. Yamaha itself is a brand that overshadows Rossi throughout his competition in MotoGP.
Meanwhile, Rossi announced his retirement during the Styria MotoGP press conference on Thursday, August 5.
