3 Residents Get Lost On The Slopes Of Mount Ungaran After Carrying Out Rituals At Sendang
SEMARANG - Three residents were reported to have lost their way down the slopes of Mount Ungaran in Semarang Regency, Central Java, after performing a ritual at Sendang Suroloyo.
Head of the Semarang Search and Rescue Office, Heru Suhartanto, said the three people were reported missing after performing a ritual at the spring, which is about 1,000 meters above sea level on Thursday, August 5.
Quoted by Antara, Friday, August 6, Hereu explained that six people were reported to have performed rituals at Sendang Suroloyo.
The six people climbed the slopes of Mount Ungaran through Nyatnyono Village. After performing the ritual at the spring, they descended the mountain in two groups of three each.
"The first group managed to descend to Ngipik Village", said Heru.

Meanwhile, the second group consisting of Roni (40), Mindiyanah (37), and Seto (50) did not arrive at the foot of the mountain.
Heru said that a search and rescue team had been dispatched to the scene. The vast terrain made it difficult for officers to find the three people.
