JCI Wednesday 4 August Projected To Strengthen, Which Stocks Are Worth Watching?
JAKARTA - The movement of the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) in today's trading is expected to resume a strengthening pattern, after yesterday ending in the green zone with an increase of 0.56 percent to the level of 6,130.
PT Reliance Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (RELI) analyst, Lanjar Nafi Taulat Ibrahimsyah, said that technically, the JCI position was confirmed to be strong enough to test the nearest resistance level.
"So, the JCI is expected to continue strengthening, with support-resistance at 6,101-6,160 levels," said Lanjar in his research.
Thus, Lanjar explained, the potential for strengthening the JCI in today's trading can be addressed by investors by collecting shares of PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES), PT Adhi Karya Tbk (ADHI), PT Astra International Tbk (ASII), PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk ( BBNI), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI), PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM), PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP), and PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS).
Meanwhile, analyst at PT Indosurya Bersinar Sekuritas, William Suryawijaya, estimates that the JCI movement in today's trading will be depressed. The support-resistance range is at the level of 6,007-6,202.

"The movement of the JCI in the coming period will still be colored by the performance of issuers during the first semester," said William.
In general, according to him, the performance of issuers continues to be overshadowed by the uncertain economic situation, so that it becomes a challenge that must be faced in the future.
