Karawang COVID-19 Task Force Closes 2 Companies Violating Health Protocols
KARAWANG - The Karawang Regency COVID-19 Handling Task Force, West Java, temporarily closed two companies violating health protocols because they did not have a COVID-19 Task Force and did not report their employees who were confirmed positive for the corona.
"The two companies were forced to temporarily close because they did not comply with the health protocol provisions during the PPKM level 4 period," said Dandim 0604/Karawang Lt. Col. Inf. Medi Hariyo Wibowo, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, July 28.
He said the two companies were temporarily closed when the Karawang COVID-19 Handling Task Force carried out unannounced inspections of several companies in industrial areas.
The two companies temporarily closed are PT Karya Indimas Elok which is located in the Mitra Industrial Estate (KIM) and PT Indotech which is located in the KIIC Industrial Estate.
The two companies were temporarily closed because they did not have an enterprise-level COVID-19 Handling Acceleration of Task Force.
In addition, the company did not report when any of its employees were confirmed positive for COVID-19 to the Karawang COVID-19 Handling Acceleration Task Force and did not implement the health protocols according to applicable regulations.
