Restaurants In Jakarta Can Dine In If Employees Have Been Vaccinated
JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government welcomes restaurants, restaurants, and special cafes in open spaces to serve meals on the spot or dine-in during the PPKM (Restrictions on Community Activities) Level 4 period until August 2nd.
Turns out, that's not the only rule. The DKI Provincial Government requires restaurant employees to have been vaccinated against COVID-19 if the restaurant carries out dine-in activities.
This is stated in the Decree of the Head of the DKI Tourism and Creative Economy Agency Number 495 of 2021 concerning PPKM Level 4 COVID-19 in the tourism business sector.
This decree was signed by the Head of DKI Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, Gumilar Ekalaya, as of July 26, 2021.
"Restaurant business activities, cafes, with locations in open spaces and free air, not in closed rooms, can carry out meals on the premises provided that employees and visitors are required to have vaccinated", Gumilar wrote as quoted by SK on Wednesday, July 28.
