Former Mulyorejo Village Surabaya Prepared To Be A Healthy Home For Residents Affected By COVID-19
SURABAYA - The former office building for Mulyorejo Village/Sub-district, Surabaya City, East Java, is being prepared to become a healthy home for residents who have been exposed to COVID-19 so that they can recover quickly and can return to their activities.
"I always say that every village has a place to be healthy from COVID-19", said Surabaya Mayor, Eri Cahyadi, when visiting Griya Mulyorejo Sehat on North Mulyorejo Street, Friday, July 23.
Eri Cahyadi's review was carried out to ensure the readiness and availability of infrastructure in the healthy house.
According to him, the healthy house is used as a substitute for home care to prevent clusters in the family environment. "So when in Mulyorejo Village there are residents who test positive for antigen quickly, then these residents can live in healthy homes", he said, quoted by Antara.
Not only preparing a healthy house, continued Eri, his party also equipped it with infrastructure so that residents who are undergoing recovery in a healthy home do not get bored.
For example, providing sports facilities for ping pong tables, badminton, and presenting gymnastic instructors.
"God willing, this will be a place to gather together happily. We provide a place for badminton, there is a ping pong table, after that there will be a gymnastics teacher", he said.
For Eri Cahyadi, providing healthy homes in each village is carried out as a curative and preventive effort to prevent COVID-19 clusters in the family environment.

Because, when there are residents who are sick and then undergo treatment at home with inadequate conditions, then this will certainly have a negative impact on the health condition of their families.
"When this COVID-19 occurs, don't let it happen when the house does not meet the requirements, a family cluster will appear. We take people who are sick so that everyone can become one here, a healthy house", he continued.
