Apple Founder Steve Wozniak Has His Own Crypto Currency, Coded WOZX

JAKARTA – Co-founder of Apple, Steve Wozniak revealed that Bitcoin is an amazing mathematical miracle. Wozniak also has its own coin called WOZX. He has been participating in crypto startups since 2018.

He also said that today's cryptocurrencies are like the emergence of the internet in its early days. Wozniak admires the technology that underlies Bitcoin, the blockchain.

“Very self-sufficient, it's like the internet when it was new. I was amazed by the technology behind it”, Wozniak said as quoted by Bitcoin.com News.

In a forum held in Sweden some time ago, Wozniak expressed his interest in Bitcoin cs. He openly said that he did not want to just be a spectator in the development of this new technology.

“I had bitcoin to experiment with and when (the price) skyrocketed, I said, 'I don't want to be one of those people who watch it, watch it, and care about the amount'”, Wozniak said at the time.

When speaking at Talent Land Jalisco 2021 which was held virtually this week, he expressed his views on Bitcoin and Wozniak admitted that he did not invest in Bitcoin.

Despite admitting not investing, Wozniak deeply admires the invention of cryptocurrencies. “Bitcoin is the most amazing mathematical marvel”, said Wozniak.

In addition, the Apple founder has his own cryptocurrency under his name, WOZX. The cryptocurrency was developed by the Efforce and Wozniak teams.

WOZX is intended as an “energy-saving token that enables Efforce platform contributors to benefit from the energy savings generated by efficiency projects around the world”.

Based on a report from Bitcoin.com, the price of WOZX is currently at the level of 0.00002146 BTC or the equivalent of USD 0.719. In the last two weeks, WOZX itself has increased by 43.3 percent and is up 14.0 percent in one month.

In July 2020, Steve Wozniak along with 17 other crypto scam victims sued Google and its subsidiary YouTube for allowing crypto scams using his name. However, the Apple founder lost an appeal against the US tech giant.
