German Citizen In Bali With IDR 1.5 Billion Cocaine Gets Arrested By Police
BADUNG - The Badung Police Team, Bali, revealed a case of cocaine with 282.01 grams of cocaine as evidence. The cocaine, which is estimated to be worth IDR 1.5 billion, belongs to a Caucasian from Germany.
A German citizen with the initials ABL (35), a cocaine owner was arrested during a raid on a villa in the Cemagi Village area, Mengwi, Badung, Monday, July 5.
"Based on this information, the police carried out a raid and the perpetrator was arrested", said Badung Police Chief Roby Septiadi in a drug case release, Friday, July 9.
The disclosure of this cocaine-type drug case began with information from residents about a party at a villa where the German Caucasian lives. From here an investigation is carried out for up to a month.
ABL wwas later arrested on Monday, July 5. When interrogated, this German Caucasian admitted his cocaine ownership.
"In the perpetrator's room, 53 plastic clip packages containing cocaine were found in the safety box and 1 plastic filled with hashish. The perpetrator admitted that the item belonged to him", said Roby.
In a follow-up search, Tuesday, July 6, the police found a blue paper bag containing 56 packages of cocaine.

Meanwhile, the Head of Drugs at the Badung Police, Iptu Putu Budi Artama, said that the cocaine was suspected of being circulated among foreign nationals.
“If we look at the evidence, cocaine is a foreigners' world. It is rare for local, except for those who have money", he said.
Meanwhile, the perpetrator admitted that the cocaine purchased online was consumed by himself. However, the police did not immediately believe in the confession of the German Caucasians and would carry out further investigations.
"The point is that because of COVID-19, he can't go back. He bought cocaine and hashish online. We are still developing it and it's not finished yet", said Iptu Budi.
