Thousand Islands Residents Can Be Picked Up To Be Vaccinated
JAKARTA - The Thousand Islands Regency Government, DKI Jakarta Province is intensifying the COVID-19 Vaccination Assault program targeting the general public aged adults.
Based on data as of June 27, there have been 12.909 residents of the Thousand Islands who have been vaccinated against the first dose of COVID-19.
"The Thousand Islands Regency Government collaborates with various parties to continue to promote the COVID-19 Vaccination Assault program targeting ages 18 years and over, so that community immunity or herd immunity can be realized, and the pandemic will end soon", wrote the Jakarta Instagram account, Tuesday, June 29
In fact, the Thousand Islands Regency Government launched a strategy to visit the homes of residents who have not been vaccinated. Those who have not been vaccinated, are picked up from their homes and taken to the vaccination center.
"Interestingly, residents who have not been registered and have not been vaccinated will be picked up, then transported to the nearest vaccination location so they can be vaccinated", said the official account belonging to the DKI Provincial Government.
The activities for accelerating the COVID-19 vaccine in the Thousand Islands are carried out every day on eleven resident islands in the Thousand Islands.

As of June 28, DKI has vaccinated 4.105.009 people with the first dose or 46.6 percent of the total targeted vaccination program. In the second dose, DKI has vaccinated 1.912.914 people.
In detail, the vaccination achievement for people aged 18-59 years, for dose 1 has been carried out to 3.505.132 people, and vaccination for dose 2 covers 1.377.641 people. Meanwhile, in the elderly group, vaccination dose 1 has been administered to 599.877 people and dose 2 vaccination covers 535.273 people.
Meanwhile, as for the mutual cooperation vaccination, dose 1 has been given to 75.757 people and dose 2 as many as 23.259 people.
