Mayor Of Tasikmalaya City And Dozens Of State Civil Apparatus Positive COVID-19
TASIKMALAYA - Mayor of Tasikmalaya, West Java, Muhammad Yusuf and dozens of state civil servants (ASN) were confirmed positive for COVID-19. They must undergo isolation to get medical treatment.
"Yesterday afternoon, the Mayor of Tasikmalaya City, Haji Muhammad Yusuf, was confirmed positive for COVID-19 from the PCR results, so this is a concern for all of us", said Tasikmalaya City Government Regional Secretary, Ivan Dicksan, to reporters quoted by Antara, Thursday, June 24.
He said the Mayor of Tasikmalaya City and his wife were confirmed positive for COVID-19 and their health conditions did not show symptoms of serious illness, so they were only self-isolating at home.
"Isolation at home is monitored, there is Civil Service Police Unit, monitored by the health service officers", said Ivan.
