Good News From Jaya Real Property, The Company Whose Shares Are Owned By The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Will Distribute Dividends Of IDR 302 Billion

JAKARTA - PT Jaya Real Property Tbk. (JRPT) will distribute cash dividends of IDR 302.5 billion from or equivalent to IDR 22 per share. This dividend value is about 30 percent of JRPT's net profit achievement in 2020 which reached IDR 924.9 billion

In the JRPT information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website, quoted Thursday, June 24, Deputy President Director of Jaya Real Property, Yohannes Henky Wijaya, said that according to the decision of the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) on June 21, 2021, the distribution of cash dividends from the fiscal year 2020 profits has been approved.

"JRPT distributed dividends of IDR 302.5 billion or equivalent to IDR 22 per share", he said.

Cum dividend in the regular and negotiated market on June 29, 2021, while in the cash market on July 1, 2021. Ex-dividends in the regular and negotiated market on June 30, 2021, and in the cash market on July 2, 2021.

The recording date of DPS who are entitled to dividends is July 1, 2021. Dividends will be paid on July 23, 2021.

Jaya Real Property posted a revenue of IDR 2.18 trillion in 2020. This number decreased 9.8 percent compared to 2019's IDR 2.42 trillion.

Nevertheless, the company's cost of goods sold and direct costs in 2020 remained relatively unchanged from the 2019 position, which was around IDR 1.02 trillion. From that, the issuer coded as JRPT posted a profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent entity of IDR 924.9 billion, down 9 percent from 2019's gain of IDR 1.01 trillion.

On the other hand, JRPT's total liabilities at the end of 2020 managed to drop slightly to IDR 3.6 trillion compared to the position at the end of 2019 of IDR 3.76 trillion. The total liabilities consist of IDR 3.24 trillion in current liabilities and IDR 361 billion in long-term liabilities.

Meanwhile, JRPT's total assets in 2020 rose to IDR 11.48 trillion compared to the position at the end of 2019 of IDR 11.16 trillion. The total assets include IDR 1 trillion in cash equivalent to the company's cash at the end of 2020.

Jaya Real Property is a developer whose ownership is controlled by PT Pembangunan Jaya, a company established on 3 September 1961 as a partnership between the DKI provincial government and private shareholders.

Pembangunan Jaya was established with the aim of helping the provincial government of DKI to build facilities and infrastructure in DKI Jakarta. The principle in management is that PT Pembangunan Jaya gets direction and supervision from the DKI provincial government but is carried out according to the rules of a private company.

The owners of Pembangunan Jaya consist of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (40 percent), the private sector (52.37 percent), and the Marga Jaya Foundation (7.63 percent).
