The National Police Chief Reminds The Important Role Of Health Workers When Reviewing Centralized Isolation In Cilincing

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo reminded the role of health workers (nakes) when reviewing the centralized isolation of people without symptoms (OTG) and the Rorotan Village in the Cilincing area, North Jakarta. The review was carried out by the National Police Chief together with the National Armed Force (TNI) Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto.

"The role of health workers is important to sort people exposed to the COVID-19 virus into asymptomatic and symptomatic categories", said the National Police Chief, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, June 22.

Not only that said Sigit, but it is also necessary to increase the number of health workers who work in the OTG centralized isolation of the Nagrak Flat, North Jakarta.

According to General Sigit, the addition of health workers is needed if the Nagrak Flat is functioned as an integrated self-isolation place.

"It is necessary to add 10 doctors and 50 nurses. Then the facilities for the community to self-isolate such as velbeds and others have been fulfilled", continued the National Police Chief.

After reviewing the Nagrak Flats, the National Police Chief, Commander, and Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin visited the Rorotan Micro-scale community activity restrictions (PPKM) Command Post, Cilincing, North Jakarta.

The three emphasized the importance of assisting Village Advisory Officer (Babinsa), Community Security and Order Supervisor (Babinkamtibmas), Community Health centers (puskesmas), and sub-district officials in handling communities affected by COVID-19 in the region.

"I hope there will be assistance by Babinsa and Babinkabtimas officers, village health centers, and village officials", said Sigit.

Next, the group visited the South Gandaria Micro-scale PPKM Command Post, Cilandak, South Jakarta. At that location, Sigit gave a message that there should be strict supervision by local authorities on people who are desperate to perform homecoming during Eid al-Fitr.

"Gandaria Village, including the positive numbers, experienced an increase after returning from Eid homecoming", said Sigit.

On the other hand, the National Police Chief appreciated the synergy between the Police, the TNI, and the local government at the PPKM Command Post. However, data regarding the development of COVID-19 in the region still needs to be improved.

"The pattern of handling in micro-scale PPKM is good, there is coordination between the village head, health workers, Babinkamtibmas, and Babinsa. However, the data needs to be completed again", said Sigit.
