Sick Of Being Ridiculed, A Man In Medan Stabbed A Coworker In The Neck To Death

MEDAN - The Sunggal Police Team arrested a man with the initials Z (27). This resident of Helvetia Medan killed his co-worker.

The Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sunggal Police, AKP Budiman Simanjuntak, explained that the murder took place on Saturday, June 19 in a warehouse on Kapten Sumarsono Street, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency.

At first, Z and the victim with the initials R aka Bagong mocked each other. Hurt by the victim's taunts, the perpetrator took a knife and stabbed the victim in the neck.

"Meanwhile, the perpetrator fled immediately", said Budiman, Tuesday, June 22.

This event was seen by other coworkers. The victim was immediately taken to the Hermina General Hospital. But the victim's life could not be saved when he received medical treatment.

From the reports received, the Sunggal Police team visited the scene. The perpetrator was also arrested while hiding not far from the scene of the murder.

"However, when development was carried out to look for evidence that he had disposed of, the alleged perpetrator tried to fight the officers to escape, so decisive and measurable action was taken against the perpetrators", said Budiman.

In addition to arresting the perpetrators, the police secured evidence in the form of a knife.

"To account for his actions, the victim's family has also made a complaint and we suspect the suspect with multiple articles, article 340 subsidiary 338 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 20 years in prison", said Budiman.
