JAKARTA - Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR Ri) Herman Herry asked the National Police Chief Gen. Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo to speed up the completion of cases that have attracted public attention. What are the cases in question? Here are the details.
The cases that captured the public's attention, which Herman meant, ranged from thuggery, drugs, land mafia, etc. "This includes taking firm action against thuggery, extortion, drugs, land mafia, human rights violations, and other crimes", said Herman Herry when reading the conclusion of the Commission III Working Meeting (Raker) of the Indonesian House of Representatives at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 16.
According to him, this step must be taken by the National Police Chief to create a sense of security and legal certainty in the community.
He explained that the conclusion of another DPR RI Commission III Working Meeting was to appreciate the performance of the National Police in realizing the Priority Program and the Chief of Police Leadership Commitment.
"The priority program has a positive impact on the community. so that the level of trust and satisfaction with the Police increases", he said as reported by Antara.
In addition, Herman said Commission III of the DPR supports the National Police in realizing the National Police Strategic Plan (Renstra) for 2020-2024 in order to realize a predictive, responsible, transparent, and just (Precision) Police to support the creation of a sovereign, independent, and just Indonesia.
In the working meeting, the National Police Chief Gen. Pol Listyo Sigit explained that in 100 days of his performance as the National Police Chief, he had resolved 7 cases of public concern, including the case of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) attack at KM 50 on the Purwakarta toll road, three cases of health protocol violations involving M. Rizieq Shihab (MRS), cases of "unlawful killing", cases of extortion or extortion at the Greating Fortune Depot and the Dwipa Kharisma Mitra Jakarta Depot.
