COVID-19 Update As Of June 13: 9.868 New Cases, Positivity Rate Increases To 20.22 Percent
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 70.468 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 9.868 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 1.911.358 people and 113.388 active cases", said Ministry of Health data, Sunday, June 13.
Today's recovered cases increased by 4.655 cases, bringing the total to 1.745.091 people recovered. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 149 people and a total of 52.879 people.
The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 2.769 cases and a total of 448.071 cases. Followed by Central Java which has 2.579 new cases with a total of 215.684 cases. West Java has 1.242 new cases and a total of 328.940 cases. Then, DI Yogyakarta has 466 new cases and a total of 48.751 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 953 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an additional 712 recovered cases, West Sumatra with an additional 454 recovered cases, and Riau with an additional 402 recovered cases.
There is one province that reported no new cases today, namely West Sulawesi. In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 17.904.185.
"Positive results per number of specimens examined or this week's positivity rate of 20.22 percent", he wrote.
The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 108.997 people. Currently, 510 districts/cities from 34 provinces have COVID-19 cases.
Furthermore, currently, there are 20.158.937 people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 11.569.443 the second dose of vaccination. Meanwhile, the total target of vaccination stages 1 and 2 reached 40.349.049 people.
