Claims For The Isolation Of Homecomers In Lampung Reaches IDR 18 Billion

BANDAR LAMPUNG - The Lampung Health Office recorded the total number of claims for financing for the treatment and isolation of travelers who were confirmed positive for COVID-19 amounted to IDR 18 billion.

"For the financing for the isolation process and treatment of travelers during the lockdown for the Lebaran homecoming period, a total of IDR 18 billion was recorded", said Head of the Lampung Provincial Health Office, Reihana, quoted by Antara, Thursday, June 10.

He explained that the claim for financing for the treatment and isolation of travelers includes payments for isolation places such as hotels, meals, medicine, and treatment costs.

"The funding is for patient care, payment for isolation places or hotels, then for food, medicine as long as travelers who are confirmed positive for COVID-19 undergo isolation", said Reihana.

According to her, the financing claim will be processed through the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Lampung Province, which will previously be verified by BPKP.

"Currently, there are 72 travelers who are confirmed positive for COVID-19, many have recovered, then the claims for the isolation financing will be verified by the BPKP (Financial and Development Supervisory Agency)", she said.

The Head of BPKP Representative for Lampung Province, Sumitro, said the same thing.

"Currently the fee is being proposed to the Central National Agency for Disaster Management and before being paid it will be verified by us", said Sumitro.

He explained that the financing, which will be verified later, includes antigen facilities, the operation of health workers, and the implementation of isolation for patients.

"The verification stage will be carried out after a proposal from the Health Office", he said.
