McDonald's Management Has Been Checked Regarding The Crowd Problems, The BTS Meal Menu Is Temporarily Removed
JAKARTA - The police said that they had investigated the McDonald's management after the appearance of the special BTS Meal menu which caused a crowd. The inspection was carried out shortly after the crowds at several outlets were resolved.
"The management has been invited to clarify", said the Head of Public Relations of the Regional Police (Polda) Metro Jaya, Commissioner Yusri Yunus to reporters, Thursday, June 10.
The examination of McDonald's management, continued Yusri, was carried out by the Sector Police and the Resort Police. However, the results of the inspection were not disclosed.
It was only said that during the examination, the police had strongly reprimanded the management. In fact, the management was asked to temporarily eliminate the BTS Meal menu.
"We have conveyed to management to try updating the system if it can be closed temporarily and it has been acknowledged that they will improve the system, so there will be no crowds", said Yusri.

"They will improve the system. We even propose so that the BTS Meal be removed from the application. Don't let a crowd like this happen", he continued.
On the other hand, when asked whether there was a criminal violation in the crowd, Yusri said that for this matter his side prioritized prevention first. The most important thing is that there are no more crowds because of the potential for the spread of COVID-19.
"We'll clarify preventively first, then we'll see the results, we're still taking clarifications first, and they admit they're sorry", said Yusri.
