With details of divorce cases as many as 2,520 and 280 cases of inheritance claims and so on.

Each month, he continued, the Tangerang Regency Religious Court received an average of 450 to 500 applications for divorce. Be it from the wife or husband.

Meanwhile, the reasons for the lawsuit or divorce are quite diverse. However, he said, the most dominant one was caused by economic problems such as husbands not meeting household needs.

He admitted that currently, the divorce rate in Tangerang Regency was still relatively stable, there was no significant increase compared to the previous year.

"Compared to previous years, there is no significant difference, it's just that per month we receive about 450 to 500 complaints", he said.

He revealed that of the 2,520 lawsuits filed with the Tangerang Regency Religious Court, almost 98 percent were granted. Because in every divorce lawsuit, one of the parties, both husband and wife, does not want to be present at the trial.

Several divorce cases have backgrounds as state civil servants, both husband, and wife, the increase in numbers is small compared to other professions.

This group of filing for divorce does exist, especially from the ASN group, but the number is not much around 0.5 percent", he said.

According to Sodikin, in handling divorce cases, there are several stages and trials. Among them, there are stages of mediation carried out by the panel of judges and third-party mediators.

"So it is not only mediation outside the trial, but peace is also carried out by the judge, there is also a mediator from a third party", he said.
