Dominant Performance, Remy Gardner Wins Pole Catalunya Moto2 GP

JAKARTA - Australian Racer Remy Garner took pole position at the Catalunya Grand Prix after a dominant performance in qualifying on Saturday, June 5. Bo Bendsneyder secured the front row starting position for the Pertamina Mandalika SAG team in P3.

Gardner scored a time of 1'42,977 to beat his teammate at Red Bull KTM Ajo, Raul Fernandez who will start from P2 with a margin of 0.158 seconds.

While Bendsneyder is 0.423 seconds adrift to complete the front row position, matching his best result this season as in the Qatar opener, according to the official MotoGP website.

Leading the standings following the victory at Mugello, Gardner has started with his second pole position of the season after Jerez to widen his gap from Fernandez who currently looms in second place by just six points.
