Elon Musk Tweets, Bitcoin Price Immediately Falls
JAKARTA – Elon Musk is back on Twitter again. The tweet from the Tesla and SpaceX boss suddenly made the price of Bitcoin (BTC) plummet. Altcoin prices are also affected.
Many Twitter users commented on the tweet, including Bitcoin owners who felt the loss due to the negative sentiment. How come? Bitcoin price immediately fell 5 percent after Elon Musk tweeted on his Twitter account.
Though Bitcoin just recovered after the market crash some time ago. Bitcoin price was at IDR 562 million, immediately dropping to IDR 543 million, based on data from CoinMarketCap on Friday, June 4th.
In a tweet by Elon Musk posted on Friday, June 4, he wrote a Bitcoin hashtag accompanied by a broken heart icon and accompanied by a meme image of a couple being cranky. The tweet received a response of 13 thousand Retweets and 113 thousand Likes from Twitter users who follow it.
The Bitcoiners, as Bitcoin owners are called, regretted Elon Musk's tweet that made the price of BTC plummet. Bitcoiners express their complaints through the account @DebyColes.
"Nooo. I just got 10 percent (profit) after losing and now the crypto market is crashing again. Why did you do that to us?”, Coles commented.
Another Bitcoiner commented on the tweet, “Screw yourself”, said Timothy S Kim via @Timothy_skim account.

In addition, one of the founders of Dogecoin, Billy Markus @BillyM2K also commented on the post, "Elon... I put my trust in you".
Dogecoin supporter Matt Wallace @MattWallace888 argues that the post signifies Elon Musk will leave Bitcoin and switch to Dogecoin.
“Elon Musk left Bitcoin in favor of Dogecoin”, Wallace wrote.
To date, Elon Musk's tweet posted this morning has invited many people to join in and comment on the tweet. It is not yet known whether Wallace's opinion that Musk will switch to Dogecoin is true or not.
If you refer to the previous information, where Elon is trying to help the development of Dogecoin and his plans for DOGE to be used as a future cryptocurrency, Wallace's opinion is probably right.
