Police Call The Source Of Fire At The Terra Drone Office Derived From A Battery With A Capacity Of 30,000 MAh That Fell
Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro gave information regarding the Terra Drone Indonesia fire incident that occurred on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. He said that the source of the fire came from a drone with a capacity of 30,000 mAh (mill Ampere-hour) that fell.
The data was known after the police examined two key witnesses at the scene.
"We are examining two key witnesses who saw firsthand how the fire started," said Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro, Friday, December 12.
Susatyo said, from the witness' testimony it was known that the fire that caused 22 people to die was caused by a drone battery that had fallen.

The drones that crashed, continued Susatyo, were 30,000 mAh in size and were piled up in four flats. After falling, the battery emitted sparks.
"According to witness testimony, since the fall, sparks have appeared where in that place there are also other batteries," he said.
After a spark occurred, then the fire grabbed until finally on the first floor it was completely burned. Especially in the storage space for drone batteries (inventory).
For this incident, the police have named the President Director (Managing Director) of the Terra Drone with the initials MW as a suspect.
