Police Examine Six Witnesses Of Beating Two Debt Collectors In Kalibata
The police have examined six witnesses in the case of the beating of two men suspected of being debt collectors or eagle eyes (Matel) in front of the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery (TMP), South Jakarta, on Thursday 11 December 2025 afternoon. This incident caused the two victims to die.
The Pancoran police chief, Kompol Mansur, said that the witnesses were residents who were at the location and saw firsthand when the beating occurred.
"There were six witnesses, from residents who saw directly at the crime scene (TKP)," he said, Friday, December 12, 2025.
Mansur added that his party was also still investigating the whereabouts of the motorcyclist who had previously been stopped by the two victims, as well as a car driver who was suspected of helping at the location.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto, said that the trigger for the beating had yet to be confirmed.
He emphasized that the results of the investigation would only be presented after the entire series of examinations were completed.
"Later we will convey the results, ask for time," he said.
